Description: A small and spirited fairy, the Bucca Gwidden resembles a cross between wood-elf and billy-goat. He has large eyes that gleam with an eldritch cobalt light. His hair is a wild thicket of elf-locks, from which curling ivory horns and springy goat-ears emerge. His slim trunk and willowy limbs are covered in a pelt of white fur, as are his shaggy flanks which end in bone-hued cloven hooves. A long tasselled tail swings from his rump. He dresses in a neck-scarf and waist-wrap of cotton, dyed the colour of seafoam by night. A leather baldric crosses his fluffy chest, bearing his harp for travel. A bronze knife is belted at his right hip, a leather coinpurse at his left. He speaks in a chipper voice with a rustic lilt, and his laughter is like the ringing of silver bells.

Personality: The Bucca Gwidden is one of the friendlier fellows among the fairy folk, although he does indulge in the occasional act of good-natured mischief. Compared to his dark counterpart, he will tend to do more good than harm when having dealings with mortals, except those of ill intent. He is protective of the wilderness, and the beasts and birds who dwell there. At the same time he has a great fondness for the human struggle, lending a hand where he can to avail the work of farmhands, housemaids, miners and fishermen, so long as they pay him due respect. Regarding his fellow fairy folk, the Bucca Gwidden is very sociable. He freely capers, cavorts and carouses with woodland piskies, mountain knockers and even sea-dwelling merfolk.
